He kept busy working at Blount in
Prentice, WI, until his retirement, along with doing masonry work throughout his life. An avid hunter and fisherman, Nick was often in the woods or on the lake in his free time. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and could often be found at local establishments "shooting the breeze" with whomever happened to sit on the stool beside him. Nick always had a story or joke to tell anyone that would lend an ear.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, W9485 State Highway 8,
Catawba_WI, WI, 54515, with Father Madanu Lourdu Raju officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until the time of the service at the church. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
