Massaro, Ruth, 83, formerly of Rockvale, died Jan. 25, 2008, in Cañon City. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Union Highland Cemetery in Florence.
Ruth Massaro 83, of Cañon City, and formerly of Rockvale, died Jan. 25, 2008, in Cañon City. She was born Sept. 8, 1924, to Pete and Catherine (Babula) Zulkowski in Rockvale. She married Dominic Massaro July 27, 1946, in Oakland, Calif. She was a lifelong resident of the Fremont County area, where she was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Rockvale. She also was a member of the High Low Bunco Club and the Rockvale Community Club.
She is survived by […]^PRIV; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rose DelDuca of Rockvale.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one great-grandson, four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Cañon City. Burial will follow in Union Highland Cemetery in Florence.
Memorial donations may be made to the Rockvale or Florence fire departments through the funeral home office.
