Ferdinand (Fred) Dziewiatek, 94 of
Bloomfield,
passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 1st.
Born July 17, 1921, in
Passaic, NJ to the late
John &
Catherine (nee Wilk), he lived in Bloomfield since 1950. Fred was a proud
WWII Army Air Corp Veteran serving as a Flight Engineer on a B-29 Bomber and attained the rank of Master Sergeant. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Fred worked for many years as a Hosemaker for Raybestos-Manhattan in Passaic, then as a Chemical Operator in Sterile Products for Hoffman-La Roche in Nutley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 8th at St Valentine Church, Bloomfield, at 10:00 am. Mausoleum Entombment will follow at
Gate of Heaven Cemetery,
